K'taka: Rail traffic resumes after blockage due to landslide

Belagavi, Aug 5 (UNI) The rail traffic has resumed after a lanslide caused by heavy rains blocked the tracks between Castle Rock to Caranzol at 0530 hrs on Wednesday.
According to Railway official sources, nearly 700 Cubic metre of debris fell on track. Around 80 men worked to restore the track, braving the incessant rains for 8 hours.
The section was not approachable by road and machines couldn't access the site. A Proclainer was loaded on BFR from Londa reached the site. By 1400 hrs, the track was restored by clearing land slip and track was certified fit.
