JVM(P) attacks state government for not stopping school mergers

Ranchi, Dec 1 (UNI) The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) has once again criticized the state government for not stopping the process of school mergers despite BJP MPs themselves raising their objections towards the move.
Party’s central spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh today said that he said that all the opposition parties including the JVM(P) have been agitating against this decision of the state government, on the other hand 12 MPs wrote a letter to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister against the move and even state president of BJP had met Raghubar Das on the issue.
Once again there are plans to merge 6466 schools in which there are less than 100 children, he said adding that the government was making misuse of its majority due to which the condition of education in the rural areas has been adversely hit. Mr Singh demanded for an immediate stop on such actions.
