JMM releases 6th list of candidates on six seats

Ranchi, Nov 20 (UNI) The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha today released the sixth list of party
candidates for six seats of the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha elections.
The list of the candidates was released in a press conference by central general
secretary of the party and spokesperson Binod Pandey and party general secretary
Phagu Besra.
While the party has once again fielded its sitting MLA Jaggarnath Mahto from Dumri
seat, it has also included the name of rebel BJP MLA Phoolchand Mandal from Sindri
seat who had switched over to the JMM after being denied a ticket from the seat.
Former minister Mathura Prasad Mahto has been field from his traditional seat of
Tundi.
Following is the list of candidates: Jaggarnath Mahto (Dumri), Mathura Prasad Mahto
(Tundi), Nizamuddin Ansari (Dhanwar), Sudivya Kumar Sonu (Giridih), Phoolchand
Mandal (Sindri) and Ram Prakash Bhai Patel from (Mandu).

Kohima, Jul 06 (UNI) Naga People’s Front (NPF) president and former chief minister Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu has said that Governor RN Ravi’s letter to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio should not come as a surprise to both the people of Nagaland and Rio as he had sought action to contain law and order situation as earlier on August 23 last year and said that extortion has nothing to do with the Naga political problem and it is “purely a law and order subject.”
In a release issued last night Dr. Liezietsu said the Governor again reminded the state Government on November 14 last year, but nothing was done. Therefore, the Governor had regretted to note that his urging and advices had gone unheeded. On the whole, Liezietsu opined that the Governor wrote the letter on the suffering of the people and not for his own gain or interest.
