Jharkhand: Shibu Soren asks people to protect political legacy of Mandu

Hazaribagh, Dec 10 (UNI) On the last day of campaigning for the third phase of elections in the state, JMM supremo Shibu Soren campaigned for party's Mandu candidate Ram Prakash Bhai Patel during which he asked the people to protect the political legacy of Mandu.
Speaking at the rally, he exuded confidence that Mahagthabandhan will come into power in Jharkhand.
The JMM patriarch, who is popularly called Guruji, said the natives remained poor despite a separate state was formed and the benefits of its rich natural resources could not be directed to them.
Soren said outsiders have only looted Jharkhand and the rampant loot is still going on.
He asked the people, especially the tribals, to keep their children away from liquor and give more stress on education.
Mandu is locked in an interesting battle between its sitting MLA Jai Prakash Bhai Patel of BJP and his elder brother Ram Prakash Bhai Patel, a JMM candidate. Jai Prakash had crossed over to BJP from JMM.
Voting will take place in Mandu on December 12.
