Jharkhand Govt to launch Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana from January 1, 2019: Raghubar

Ranchi, Nov 27 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today announced that the state government would launch the Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana from January 1, 2019 in the state in which girls hailing from 26 lakh families would be benefitted.
Addressing a programme organised on abolition of child marriages at the project building here, he said since the time of the birth of the child till they turn 18 the state government would timely provide them with financial aid for their social and economic development. The funds would be directly transferred into their accounts through DBT.
The chief minister said it is the priority of the state government to remove poverty, migration, malnutrition and child marriages from the state. He said that government, non government entities and institutions of panchayati raj should work in coordination so that the social evils in the society can be removed. He asked the self help groups to launch campaign against child labour as by creating awareness success can be achieved.
