JD(U) backs CAB, Sena walks cautiously & finds no logic in including Afghanistan

New Delhi, Dec 9 (UNI) Shiv Sena, which was part of the NDA and had backed the Citizenship Amendment Bill in the previous Lok Sabha, on Monday walked cautiously on the path of Hindutva and backed Modi government for abrogating Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Participating in the debate on the Bill, Shiv Sena member Vinayak Raut said while his party is not against the 'persecuted' religious community people from Pakistan and Bangladesh, he found no logic in giving the same criterion to those from Afghanistan.
"You may allow them to stay in India....but do not give them voting rights for 25 years," said Sena MP.
