Bengaluru, Nov 10 (UNI) Former Karnataka Minister and Mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy , who was alleged to have been evading arrest since last four days, appeared before the CCB Investigation officers on Saturday in connection with alleged Rs 23 Crore money laundering case.
He was grilled for more than three hours by the CCB investing officers including ACP Subramaniam and Venkatesh Prasanna and other officers. The CCB have summoned other accused in the case Ambika Jewellers Ramesh and Raj Mahal Jewellers owner Ramesh Kothari. Reddy has been asked to remain until completing the questioning Ramesh and Ramesh Kothari. Mr Reddy has been asked to remain in the office until questioning of other alleged accused who were summoned are completed.
Earlier before appearing before the CCB, Reddy in a video recorded press release to the media from unknown place, said that he is not involved in any money laundering or any corruption. "Though I was asked to appear before CCB officers for questioning tomorrow (Sunday) I am appearing one day early on today itself my own."
