Jadeja's unbeaten 57 steers CSK to 176/6

Lucknow, April 19 (UNI) Ravindra Jadeja's unbeaten 57 off 40 balls played a crucial role in guiding Chennai Super Kings to a competitive total of 176/6 against Lucknow Super Giants here on Friday.
Facing early setbacks, Chennai Super Kings lost wickets at regular intervals. Rachin Ravindra departed for a duck, while Captain Rituraj Gaikwad managed just 17. However, opener Ajinkya Rahane's brisk 36 off 24 balls provided some stability to the innings.
It was Jadeja's masterclass in batting under pressure that turned the tide for Chennai. His innings, laced with five fours and a six, showcased his ability to accelerate the scoring rate when it mattered most. Jadeja anchored the innings, providing valuable support to Moeen Ali (30) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (28 off 9).
Despite the impressive bowling from Lucknow Super Giants, with Krunal Pandya standing out with figures of 2/16, Chennai managed to post a competitive total in their allotted 20 overs.
For Lucknow Super Giants, Pandya was the pick of the bowlers, while Marcus Stoinis, Yash Thakur, Mohsin Khan, and Ravi Bishnoi chipped in with a wicket each.
With a challenging target set, the stage is set for an exciting run chase as Lucknow Super Giants look to chase down 177 to secure a victory against Chennai Super Kings. UNI BDN SSP
