JAC Preparing for Dharna in SLA on 19 Nov’18

Gangtok,Nov 18 (UNI) Joint Action Committee, formed under former Lok Sabha MP Pahalman Subba, to seek the disqualification of seven MLAs, who defected from Sikkim Krantikari Morcha to Sikkim Democratic Front, has said it will sit on a Dharna on Monday.
The Joint Action Committee has been striving to see the seven party defectors disqualified from legislatureship. The Speaker of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Kedar Nath Rai has been conducting proceedings in the matter.
The Joint Action Committee has decided to protest unless the seven MLAs, charged by them for defecting, pray for further time as they have already asked the Speaker for time thrice so far.
