New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad lashed out at the leaders of Opposition on Monday, with regard to the conduct in Rajya Sabha on Sunday and over them refusing to leave the Upper House, even after their suspension order by Chairman Venkaiah Naidu in the morning.
Mr Prasad said it was a shameful day in the history of Parliament, pointing to how the leaders stood on chairs and one of them tore the rule book and other ruckus, the Minister said, while addressing a press conference here.
He dismissed the claims made by the Opposition leaders, saying that the government had the majority over the bills.
