Bhubaneswar, Mar 19 (UNI) The ruling BJD today described the intelligence report produced by the BJP leaders at a news conference here yesterday suggesting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to chose a safe seat from Western odisha to contest the election as “ fake and fabricated”.
The Odisha unit of BJP on Monday produced an intelligence report from the state Intelligence Bureau where in the Chief Minister was advised to contest any one of the four assembly seats in Western Odisha as his home constituency Hinjili, is no more safe for him.
Mr Patnaik who has been contesting Hinjili in South Odisha since 2000 Assembly elections, this time has decided to contest from Bijepur Assembly seat in Wester Odisha besides Hinjili seat.

Patna, May 7 (UNI) Despite all efforts of the Election Commission and other stalwarts to attract the voters to the booths to exercise their franchise, polling in the third phase of the elections in five seats namely Jhanjharpur, Supaul , Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria in Bihar had marginal increase of 1.42 percent compared to the second phase of the polling but was still 1.22 percent less than the last Lok Sabha elections held in 2019 in the same five constituencies.

Kolkata, May 7 (UNI) Reacting to the Supreme Court order for interim stay on Calcutta High Court's decision, which declared the entire panel of 2016 SSC teachers' recruitment null and void, the BJP on Tuesday said, " Our stand remains the same for justice to the qualified candidates" in the alleged recruitment scam.
