Reliance Q4 net rises by 16.6 percent Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Mukesh Ambani controlled, Reliance Industries has reported at rise of 16.6 per cent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 8046 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared with the consolidated net profit of Rs 6903 crore for the same quarter a year ago. A total revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 grew by 45.2 percent to Rs 92,889 crore as compared with Rs 63,954 crore for the same quarter last fiscal. For the year ended March 31, 2017 company has reported a rise of 18.8 percent at Rs 29,901 crore as compared with net profit of Rs 25,171 crore. A total revenue for the year ended March 31, 2017 grew by 12.6 percent to Rs 330,180 crore as compared with the Rs 293,298 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016. Basic earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 was Rs 27.3 as against Rs 24.3 in the corresponding period of the previous year. Outstanding debt as on March 31,2017 was Rs 196,601 crore compared to Rs 180,665 crore as on 31st March 2016. Cash and cash equivalents as on March 31, 2017 were at Rs 77,226 crore compared to Rs 89,969 crore as on 31st March 2016.
