Indian U-16 national football team to clash with Russia in opening match of BRICS U-16 Football Cup

Panaji, Oct 4 (UNI) After participating in the AFC U-16 Championship and grabbing just a point off three games, courtesy a 3-3 draw against Saudi Arabia-the Indian U-16 National Team will oil their engines for the five-nation BRICS U-16 Football Cup, which commences at Athletic Stadium in Bambolim tomorrow.
In tomorrow's match India would be clashing swords against Russia in their open encounter. The match would kick-off at 2000 hrs.
Ahead of the opening clash, Nicolai Adam touted the five-nation BRICS Cup, wherein the Indian Colts face Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa, as value addition to the experience of the Indian squad.
