Indian Coast Guard (ICG) rescued 14 fishermen

Visakhapatnam, Sep 25 (UNI) The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) rescued two fishing boats along with 14 fishermen off the coast of Odisha,

According to ICG release here on Tuesday, the fishing boats namely “ Nirman” and “ Omm Maa Parbati” were stranded in Bay of Bengal post onset of Cyclone ‘Daye’ on 22 September 18. Indian Coast Guard Ship Sujay was sailed out under extremely adverse weather condition from Paradip port to undertake Search and Rescue (SAR) operation. The boats were located and were brought back safely to Paradip on 21 September 18.
