India will complete Gaganyaan Mission as per PM’s aspirations: IAF Chief Dhanoa

Bengaluru, Sep 14 (UNI) Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa on Friday said the country will achieve the feat of successful manned space journey ‘Gaganyaan’ as per the aspirations and time limit given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mr Modi in his independence Day address had said that the country should send an Indian on a space mission by 2022.
Speaking at the 57th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Aerospace Medicine (ISAM) here, the Air Chief said the Institute of Aerospace Medicine is actively involved in selection of astronauts earlier and its involvement in manned space mission will continue. ‘’I am sure we will be able to do it in a very short notice. Aerospace Medicine specialist is the best friend of the air crew in the field,’’ he said while delivering the inaugural speech at a the three-day event.
