India rejects Erdogan's support for Pakistan on Kashmir, asks Turkey not to interfere

New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) India on Saturday rejected all references to Jammu and Kashmir made by Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked Turkey not to interfere in the internal affairs of the country.

In response to queries regarding references to Jammu & Kashmir by Turkish President and the Turkey-Pakistan Joint Declaration, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said: "India rejects all references to Jammu & Kashmir, which is an integral and inalienable part of India. We call upon the Turkish leadership to not interfere in India's internal affairs and develop proper understanding of the facts, including the grave threat posed by terrorism emanating from Pakistan to India and the region."

The Turkish President on Friday vowed that Ankara will support Pakistan's stand on the Kashmir issue 'as it is a matter of concern to both the countries.'

Mr Erdogan made the remarks during his visit to Pakistan.

CCEA approves upward revision of interest subvention under DIDF

New Delhi, Feb 19 (UNI) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Wednesday gave approval for upward revision of interest subvention from "upto 2 per cent" to "upto 2.5 per cent" under the scheme Dairy processing and Infrastructure Development Fund (DIDF)with the revised outlay of Rs 11,184 crore.

Tapas Pal's death: Mamata becomes 'explosive,' accuses BJP of 'revenge'

New Delhi/Kolkata, Feb 19 (UNI) Infusing 'more tension' in the BJP-Trinamool 'relation,' Trinamool Congress supremo and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday accused the BJP of adopting 'revengeful attitude' towards late actor-turned politician Tapas Pal-arrested by the CBI for his alleged link to Rose Valley Chit Fund scam in December 2016.
Paying her tributes to late Pal before his last journey in Kolkata, Ms Banerjee also termed the passing away of the actor 'most untimely.'
'Tapas Pal had undergone series of insults and humiliations during his jail imprisonment. The BJP is adopting revengeful attitude towards Bengal,' Ms Banerjee observed.
