New Delhi, Jun 4 (UNI) Noted industrialist and Managing director of Bajaj Auto, Rajiv Bajaj on Thursday said that the country has implemented a draconian lockdown which has ended up decimating its economy and flattening the GDP curve instead of COVID-19.
“Disruption… the way India has been locked down is a draconian lockdown. This kind of lockdown, I’m not hearing about from anywhere else”, Mr Bajaj said in a talk with former Congress president Rahul Gandhi as part of a series organised by the Congress party on India’s approach over tackling corona virus and the lockdown-hit economy.
“You have definitely decimated the economy. You flattened the wrong curve. It is not the infection curve, it is the GDP curve. This is what we have ended up”, he added.
