Income limit of creamy layer of OBC enhanced: HP CM

Shimla, Feb 11 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said the government has enhanced the income limit of the creamy layer in the list of Other Backward Classes (OBC) from Rs 4.50 lakh to Rs 6 lakh so that more eligible beneficiaries could take benefits of various welfare schemes of the state government.
Stating this, while chairing the 13th state level meeting of Labana Board here today, he said that
12 per cent reservation was being provided to the Labana community for class-I and class-II posts through direct recruitment in government sector besides, 18 per cent for class-III and class-IV posts in government jobs.
