Imran damaged Pakistan economy: Maryam

Islamabad, June 16 (UNI) Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Maryam Nawaz on Thursday accused former Prime Minister Imran Khan of causing so much economic damage that the country will take months if not a year to recover.
Addressing a press conference here, Maryam Nawaz said that ousted governments tell people about their achievements when they leave but "ex-Ministers tell the people that Imran Khan laid landmines for the incumbent government", Geo news reported.
She said the Shehbaz Sharif-led government did not raise petrol price or tax on its own. It wass due to the the International Monetary Fund (IMF) contract that the Imran Khan government had signed that this was done.
