IJA condemns murder of Dharmendra Singh

Kolkata, Nov 13 (UNI) Indian Journalists' Association (IJA) president Sekhar Sengupta today condemned the murder of a senior journalist Dharmendra Singh, who became a victim at the hands of the stone-crusher mafia at Sasaram of Rohtas district in Bihar.
“I appeal to the Bihar Chief Minister to nab the criminals and punish them. If this is not done, I fear, crime will spread across the State borders,” Mr Sengupta said in a statement here.
Dharmendra Singh, a senior journalist of a leading Hindi daily was shot dead by criminals near Amara Pond under Mufassil Police Station area in Rohtas district yesterday.
