IFIM College announces scholarship worth Rs 1.33 crore to 80 students

Bengaluru, Jul 29 (UNI) IFIM College, Bengaluru’s NAAC A accredited and autonomous undergraduate and postgraduate college affiliated to Bangalore University is holding a test to award 80+ scholarships for aspiring students.
In a press release issued here today, it was stated that the IFIM Scholarship aptitude test (ISAT) is being conducted on 7th - 8th August 2021 and 14th - 15th August via AI proctored online examination platform. This exam can be taken by students online from the convenience of their homes during these dates.
In the past, such scholarships were offered based on the XIIth Standard performance and used to be limited in numbers. Due to the challenges posed by Covid-19 on many in the country, this time IFIM College has doubled the number of scholarships and is using the ISAT to determine the winners of the scholarships.
Sanjay Padode, Chairman, IFIM Institutions said, “The Padode Foundation has been giving scholarship awards in the past to the meritorious and the needy. Due to the prevailing pandemic, the financial situation of many families in India has deteriorated and this is constraining students from exercising their choice of educational institutions and programs. The foundation has taken this into cognizance and decided to come to the aid of such families through this scholarship program”
Prof Viswanathaiah, Principal of IFIM College said, “Our institutions attained autonomy this year and we would like the incoming students to take the maximum advantage of our new age curriculum ratified by the industry. We are quite confident that the enhanced curriculum will bring lucrative placement opportunities for those taking admission into the program. The scholarships being offered will also augment the quality of the cohort enhancing the peer learning experience for our students'', the release added.
