If Maken can prove charges, I will leave politics: Imran Hussain

New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) Food Minister in Delhi government Imran Hussian, who has been exposed by Congress after the latter released tapes showing Mr Hussain's employee allegedly extorting money, the AAP lawmaker from Ballimaran refuted the allegation, saying that employee shown in the video, was part of an attempted hustle.
"If (Congress leader Ajay) Maken can prove that any of my staff or family member is involved in the sting, I will leave politics. If he is not able to prove the charges against me, he should also promise to leave politics," said Mr Hussain, talking to mediapersons outside his residence, hours after the incident.
Congress claimed that Mr Hussain's aide can be seen in a video recording demanding a bribe of Rs 25 lakh for him. The party also said that Mr Hussain's brother was part of the attempted hustle.
