HomeLane targets to achieve Rs 600 cr revenue in 2019-20 : Tanuj Choudhary

Hyderabad, Jul 11 (UNI) HomeLane, India’s fastest growing interior design brand has targeted to achieve Rs 600 crore revenue during the financial year 2019-20, its Chief Business Officer and Board Member Tanuj Choudhary said.

Talking to newsmen, after launching second experience centre at Banjara Hills after Gachibowli here on Thursday, Mr Tanuj said that the HomeLane was launched four-and-half years back. Currently we were operating in seven cities---Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, NCR, Pune and Kolkata. Hyderabad was second largest city for us after Bangaluru, he added.
“We are probably first brand in the country to work time line of 45 days. If we not fulfilled we will pay rent for every day”, he said.

Speaking on expansion, Mr Tanuj said that recently we entered into Pune and Kolkata markets. We are planning to expand the business in the surrounding arreas in tier two cities though we are already existing in 7 cities, during the next six- eight months .

Speaking on interior cost, he said that the minimum cost would be Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 24 lakh will be the maximum. The average ticket size would be Rs 6 lakh, he said.

Stating that the company has 850 employees and 650 additional freelance designers, Mr Tanuj said the company has tied up with factories, designers, builders as well as with customers.

Stating that the company was profitable on every order ( with 8-10 per cent) , Mr Tanuj said the last 18 months the company grew six times in terms of revenue and order book. “ We did Rs 39-40 crore business in 2017-18, andabout 100 crore in 2018-19 and expecting to reach Rs 600 crore in the current fiscal”.

He said that 4,300 homes were completed so far. Of them, 1400 are in Hyderabad. At present we are completing 10-12 houses per day and 360 per month.” Our target is to double (760) per month during the next nine months-- upto March 2020”, he added.
