Home based heathcare services launched in Guwahati

Guwahati, Aug 31 (UNI) Northeast India’s first home based healthcare service `Homelith’ was launched here today.
A start-up venture of Namgru innovations, a Bangalore based service and technology company, the initiative was funded by a group of venture capitalists and is being headed by founder Dr Simanta Sharma. Through Homelith, one can avail medical services at the doorstep 24 hours a day.
Initially the services will be available within the Guwahati , and will be gradually expanded to other major towns of Assam and other Northeastern states.
“This is a paradigm change in the way medical care is delivered wherein instead of the patients going to the hospital for anything to everything, the hospital, in a sense, now comes to one’s home to deliver quality care at one’s bedside”, Dr Simanta Sharma, Founder and CEO said.
