Hyderabad, Nov 12 (UNI) Hitachi Vantara, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Limited on Tuesday launched Regional Operations Hub (ROH) that will act as an innovation and global delivery center for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Speaking to newsmen after launching ROH, Hitachi Vantara Chief Executive Officer Brian Householders said that the centre of excellence would enable the company to connect and serve customers better, build local market expertise and deliver innovation faster.
The digital platform would help in core storage and infrastructure solutions to the customers in any industry including manufacturing, transportation, energy, communication, he said.
The delivery center also enhances Hitachi Vantara's "follow-the-sun" capabilities to support global customers anywhere, anytime. lt also expands the company's ability to showcase its world-class products, solutions and services to customers, partners and prospects from the growing India market and elsewhere in the APAC region.
Hitachi Vantara Chief Product and Strategy Officer Brad Surak said we help enterprises store, enrich, activate and monetize their data to improve their customers' experiences, develop new revenue streams and lower their business costs. Replying to a question, Hitachi Vantara, India & SAARC Vice President and Managing Director Hemant Tiwari said that at present the ROH has 300 employees. It would be enhanced to 600 by 2020.
Hitachi Vantara Chief Revenue Officer Hans-Peter Klaey, Chief Marketing Officer Jonathan Martin, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific Daniel Chong and among others also present on the occasion.
