Hideout busted, ammunition recovered in Reasi

Jammu, Jan 8 (UNI) Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered cache of arms and ammunition in a remote belt of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Based on specific information, the Rashtriya Rifles troops under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Force Headquarter based and police personnel from Chasana this afternoon recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from a natural hideout at Samote Reasi area in Kuliwala Forest of Chasana Tehsil of Reasi District,’’ Col SD Goswami, Northern Command based defence spokesperson here today said.
He said that during search, cache of arms and ammunition including one AK-56 Rifle, one 7.63 mm Pistol, one 303 Rifle, one Sniper Rifle Dragunov, five magazine of AK 56, one magazine of Pistol, 75 rounds of AK 56 Rifle, 55 rounds of Pikka, two rounds of Pistol, six rounds of Sniper Rifle, one Grenade UBGL, one Rotating Bolt of AK 56 Rifle, 11 fired cases of AK 56 and two fired cases of Sniper Rifles were recovered from the hideout.
