Hemant donates blood, urges youth to come forward for the noble cause

Ranchi, Jan 27 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren participated in a blood donation programme during which he not only donated blood himself but also called upon the youth to come forward for this noble cause as blood donation can save many precious lives.
Hemant said that in a year a healthy person can easily donate blood 3-4 times as it also has a positive impact on the health. He said that since the government does not have a clear cut policy for blood donation therefore there is a confusion among the people for blood donation. He said that blood donation is a safe and health tradition and whatever quantity of blood is taken out the same amount gets prepared inside the body within 21 days.
He said that it was a rare opportunity for him to participate in a public blood donation camp and he was very happy for it. He said that to build a healthy state the youth should come forward and participate in blood donation camp in large numbers. He said that there was a lack of blood in the district hospitals which can be only fulfilled with the cooperation of the people.
