Hefazat –E- Islam top leaders arrested in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Apr 17 (UNI) Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has come up for discussion in the politics of Bangladesh again after the siege of Shapla Chattar in Motijheel in 2013.
Last month, on the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence and the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, on the occasion of the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hefazat started a nationwide burning movement. Which was led by the party's joint secretary general Mamunul Haque.
Later, a case was filed at the Paltan Police Station on April 5, naming 18 people, including Hefazat's joint secretary general Mamunul Haque, and 22,000 others as accused in connection with the March 28 violence at the Baitul Mukarram premises.
