HCL opening gates of global market for local talents

Lucknow, Oct 23 (UNI) Claiming that big IT giants like HCL has opened gate of global market for local talents, Puneet Bhasin, Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer, Unum here on Tuesday said IT sector is all set for huge development here.
Mr Bhasin said that young talents have good capabilities to deal with international projects but they had no access to global market. Now, platforms like HCL are providing them opportunity to involve in international projects while they are still in their home town.
Mr Bhasin, a native of Lucknow, said, "In our days there were no such opportunities. We have to move other places, specially out of country for better prospects but in current scenario there are ample opportunities and fertile talents, rest is a platform which is being provided by companies like HCL."
He said that students of institutions like IITs and IIMs are producing world class skilled force. "They can provide services here in our country which will not only strengthen us but also pave way for bright future for next generation.", he said.
Speaking about China's manpower, Mr Bhasin said, "we have upper-hand in terms of language proficiency and hard work. In our country, hundreds of foreign companies are outsourcing and Lucknow and Bengaluru became the hub of these type of business activities."
