States » North » DIEPosted at: Apr 11 2019 7:57PM Haryana CEO inaugurates voter park in GurugramChandigarh, Apr 11 (UNI) Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Rajeev Ranjan inaugurated the country's first Voter Park in Vikas Sadan of Gururgram on Thursday, urging people to participate in the democratic exercise, to elect their representatives, in the world's biggest democracy. According to Mr Ranjan, the Park, which will remain open from 0900 hrs to 2100 hrs, will offer important information about the whole process of voting, in addition to the history of elections.Motivating the people to exercise their franchise in the Lok Sabha elections, he said the objective of establishing this Park is to motivate voters to exercise their democratic right, so that they can contribute in the progress of the country.
