Dubai, Nov 13 (UNI) Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale on Wednesday participated in an inter faith gathering organised by a Gurudwara on 550 years of Birth Anniversary celebration of Guru Nanak Dev, here in UAE capital.
Visitors at the Gurudwara said the event has been organised extremely well. One of the visitors said that this is a "big moment for Punjabis all over the UAE."
Gurpurab, the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety across the world on Tuesday.
Attired in colourful dresses, members of the Sikh community, including women and children, thronged Gurudwaras, religious congregations in UAE and offered special prayers on the occasion.
