Guest teachers Sangh hunger strike enters 30th day in Ambala Cantt

Ambala, Dec 1 (UNI) Hunger strike by guest teachers under the banner of Haryana Guest Teachers Sangh entered 30th day on Friday.
The teachers are sitting outside the residence of Health Minister Anil Vij in Shastri Colony, Ambala Cantt. The batches of the guest teachers sit on hunger strike facing the biting cold under a shamiana. The teachers alleged that the Mr Vij had made promise with them that their demand to regularise them would be fulfilled when the BJP came to power. But after coming to power, their demand was being ignored.
Only reply of the Minister was that he had raised the issue with Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Both had said that since the matter was with the court, the government could not take any action with regard to their demand of regularising them.
