Grenade attack on CRPF camp, no injury, Jaish claim responsibility

Srinagar, July 18 (UNI) Militants fired a rifle grenade towards a CRPF camp in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Tuesday night, official sources said.
The rifle grenade was fired from an unknown place towards CRPF camp at village Haal in Pulwama. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded at a distance without causing any damage. Guards posted at main gate of the camp also fired few rounds in the air, the added.
Security forces later conducted search operation in the area but the militants had managed to escape under the cover of darkness, they said.
Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
