Grenade attack kills one, injures two in Afghan

Jalalabad, Aug 27 (UNI) A child was killed and two others were injured as a grenade was thrown into a house in east Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, provincial police spokesman Abdul Basir Zabuli said Sunday.

According to the official, the incident occurred in Karabawi locality of Bati Kot district late Saturday night when a grenade was thrown into a house, killing a child on the spot and injuring two other people, including a woman.

The official added that further investigations had been initiated into the incident without providing more details.
