Grass root health workers help in improving overall health scenario : Manipur minister

Imphal, Aug 31 (UNI ) Manipur Health, Information Minister Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh on Wednesday said that the services provided by health workers specially ASHA workers are highly commendable.
The Minister was speaking during a function of distribution of Bags and Umbrellas to ASHAs of Manipur held at Lamphelpat here.
Dr Ranjan said that the primary health care system needs to be focused and strengthened. Without strengthening primary health care who work at the grassroot level, the tertiary health care system can’t be improved.
