Grass Land management at MM Hills, Cauvery sanctuary to increase fodder for animals in Karnataka

Chamarajanagara, Dec 8 (UNI) The Karnataka Forest Department has taken up Grass Land management at MM Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary so as to increase the fodder availability for animals.
Lantana and other weeds, which had grown on around 500 acres of forest land, are being removed manually in the exercise that began last month and intend to complete the exercise in another two months and fresh shoot of grass will cover the area,” said Deputy Conservator of forests, M M Hills Wildlife Sanctuary V Yadukondalu.
The cost of the exercise has been pegged at Rs One Crore.

Kakinada, May 1 (UNI) Two girl students of CSE first year of JNTUK College of Engineering – G Padmapriya and M. Kavitha - have been selected for the prestigious Amazon Future engineering programme in the National level competition.
