Govt bans export of onions

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) The government has imposed complete ban on the export of Onion seed to increase its availability in the domestic market.
According to a notification issued on Thursday evening by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, the export of Onion seed will remain banned till further orders.
There is a heavy shortage of Onions in the domestic market and the price of the same has registered sharp increase.
