Goa Govt should settle old woes in New Year: Shiv Sena

Panaji, Jan 1 (UNI) Shiv Sena on Tuesday said that while it welcomed gesture of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar to attend office on first day of the year, it also expected that chief minister's cabinet colleagues worked for welfare of the state.
In a statement Shiv Sena Goa unit spokesperson Rakhi Prabhudesai Naik said Mr Parrikar's arrival at Secretariat should be taken as an inspiration by rest of the cabinet of ministers who had failed to govern the State contributing for the woes of the people living in the State.
"This year, Sena expects the government to solve the crisis faced by mining industry which has been demanding resumption of the activity. The people dependent on this industry are waiting with eagerness for Centre to find solution and for that the ministers in State government should make all out efforts, she said.
