Goa Dy CM inaugurates Shinohara - 92 at Dept of Printing & Stationary

Panaji, Jun 12 (UNI) Goa Deputy Chief Minister Manohar Azgaonkar inaugurated four colour Printing Machine Shinohara – 92 at Department of Printing and Stationary in the City on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Azgaonkar said with the installation of Modern Technology Printing Machine in the Department it would be a new challenge and responsibility of all the staff members attached to Department of Printing and Stationary to use the machine and accomplish the work of all the Government departments and also to maintain the machine for its usage.
The Deputy Chief Minister said idea of installing such a hi-tech four colour machine in the Department of Printing and Stationary was conceived by the then Chief Minister of Goa late Manohar Parrikar. He also praised Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for the support and cooperation extended for the installation of the new machine.
Fully automatic Machine Shinohara – 92 has cost Rs five crores. It can print 70 GSM to 600 GSM in a speed of 1600 sheet per hour. The same has been installed in a air-conditioned space of 102.75 Sq.Mts. The department is also equipped with facilities such as dedicated Electrical room for electrical equipments, underground cable trenches to streamline conduits and wiring, Modular false ceiling with eco friendly led panel lights, Special RCC raft foundation with double layer water proofing, upgraded transformer of 11 KV with DG backup for the printing machine by incurring additional expenditure of Rs 60 lakh.
Damodar Shanke, Director, Department of Printing and Stationary, informed that Shinohara – 92 was a first machine of its kind in Goa. The machine is designed by Japanese and assembled in China.

South Central Railway to run Nizamabad-Pandharpur passenger train until July 15
