Addressing a press conference at party headquarters in the city, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Luzinho Faleiro said the Seventh Pay Commission had recommended 14 per cent hike but the cost of living went up as inflation skyrocketed. ''There was widespread resentment and anger against the recommendations after it came out. Neverthless, Centre has implemented the recommendations from January this year.
