Goa CM expresses pain over demise of Hema Sardesai's husband

Panaji, Nov 22 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has expressed pain over passing away of Xavier D'Souza, husband of popular Bollywood singer Hema Sardesai.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said,''Pained to learn about the untimely demise of Shri Xavier D'Souza, husband of Goa's popular singer Hema Sardesai. A very humble and down to earth person. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May God give them strength in this hour of distress.''
Xavier was detected with Cancer in November 2019 and underwent a surgery. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Bangalore. He died due to cardiac arrest on November 21, 2020, family sources said.
