Global Tech Summit concludes by showcasing India's start-up ecosystem

Vijayawada, Feb 17 (UNI) The Global Tech Summit 2023 concluded successfully here on Friday by showcasing India's Start-ups ecosystem, with a renewed commitment to make Andhra Pradesh a new Information Technology hub in the country.
Addressing the concluding session of the summit, the Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, Co-Convenor of the Global Tech Summit said that , It's the right time to showcase India's potential to the world particularly at a time when India is holding the G20 Presidency this year".
"The Global Tech Summit Series is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in technology to learn from and engage with the best minds in the industry" he said.
Gedela said that One of the most exciting aspects of the Global Tech Summit Series is the opportunity to connect with people from around the world.
He said that" Andhra Pradesh has around 2.5 Million IT professionals who are working in India or abroad and there is a need to bring back those professionals into the state to make it an IT hub.
"The majority of IT employees are from Andhra Pradesh and to address these challenges the state government has already announced the concept of three IT cities in the state" he added.
Talking about the Artificial Intelligence and Startups ecosystem in the state he said, we have more than 200 start-ups which are working in Ai only and this global summit gives them the best opportunities to raise the funds for the future course of action".
"Indian Angel Network, New York Equity Forums, Hyderabad Angels, and private equity investors like Finacle Soft IT Services Funding from the USA and our other investors as we continue to grow and expand our business," he said
Addressing the gathering, S Kiran Kumar Reddy Group CEO of Andhra Pradesh IT & EC department said that "Our main moto is to bring the Andhra Pradesh at the centre stage in the field of IT sectors.
Over the State - Center co-ordination, he said the centre government has supported lots of help in setting up start- UPs ecosystem in the state which was lagging behind in the earlier governments.
He also appealed the investors who are presenting at the global summit to invest in the Andhra Pradesh.
"We have strong policies and a conducive environment in place to facilitate the investors" he added.
Reddy also reiterated that there is lots of talent in the IT sector in the state but need of the hours ia to make the best use of it.
Addressing the event Seediri Appala Raju, Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Dairy Development of Andhra Pradesh said that
In the field of dairy development, technology has played a crucial role in increasing milk production and improving the quality of milk.
"The use of automated milking machines, which can milk cows without human intervention, has reduced labour costs and improved efficiency' he said.
The two-day Global Tech Summit has covered a range of topics, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, blockchain and fintech.
Approximately 100 startups have showcased their innovations at the Global Tech summit.
