New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) The world on Saturday passed another grim milestone of 30 lakh COVID-related deaths, prompting a much greater need to curb the spread of novel coronavirus.
According to John Hopkins University data, United States topped the list with 5,66,244 deaths followed by Brazil 3,68,749, Mexico 2,11,693, India 1,75,649 and United Kingdom 1,27,472. The current global death toll tally stands at 30,00,225.
In terms of cases, US has highest 3,15,75,640 while the second worst COVID-hit country India is having 1,45,26,609 cases.
