Gang indulge in issuing 'bogus' bills nabbed

Bengaluru, Sep 18 (UNI) South Zone Enforcement wing (Commercial Taxes Department) officers busted a gang indulging in issuing of bogus and e-way bills and arrested one person in this connection.
The arrested was identified as Kuldeep Choudhary, proprietor, M/S Neelakanth Exports, according to a statement by the Commissioner of Central Taxes (Karnataka) M S Srikar here said on Tuesday.
He said that according to preliminary investigation, the arrested had issued an invoice for Rs 29 crore involving a tax of Rs 5.34 crore, without the supply of goods and services.
