France reports first Coronavirus death in Europe

Paris, Feb 15 (UNI) An 80-year-old Chinese tourist became the first casualty of Novel Coronavirus in Europe, after the octogenarian breathed his last at a French hospital, Health Minister of France Agnes Buzyn confirmed on Saturday.
This is the first fatality from the lethal respiratory disease outside Asia.
According to CNBC, France has 11 confirmed cases of the droplet disease, with more than 66,000 cases around the world.
The death toll has passed 1,500 in at least 27 countries, the vast majority of which are in China.
Three deaths have so far been recorded due to Coronavirus outside mainland China, including in the Philippines, Hong Kong and Japan.
A further 2,641 people have been newly confirmed as infected, bringing China's total to 66,492.
