Four members of a family killed in road mishap

Siwan, Dec 07 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck on State Highway 77 under Sarai police outpost area in the district today.

Police said here that four members of the family –Ranjeet Kumar (20), his mother Rajkali Devi (52), sister-in-law Gudia Devi (25) and niece Anushka Kumari (8), natives of Akma village under J B Town police station area were killed on the spot when the their motorcycle was hit by the speeding truck. Sources said the family members were on way to Siwan when the mishap took place.

Police said that the truck driver made good his escape from the spot after the mishap. The bodies have been sent to Siwan Sadar Hospital for autopsy, sources added.
