Former Ranji captain Babu Acharath passes away

Kannur, Apr 10 (UNI) Former Kerala Ranji captain Babu Acharath, hailing from Thalassery, died in a private hospital following old-age illness, here on Tuesday.
He was 81. Babu Acharath is survived by wife Ramla Beevi and three children, including Musthaq Ali and two daughters (late) Zaira Banu and Rasheeda Banu.
The funeral will be take place on Wednesday morning, family sources said. The family of Babu Acharath resides at Poozhathi near South Bazar.
