New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's health condition continues to be critical and doctors are making their best efforts to improve his health condition, Union Health Minister JP Nadda said on Thursday.
Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Nadda said AIIMS will be releasing latest bulletin about the former Prime Minister's medical condition soon.
'Mr Vajpayee continues to be critical and on a life support system,' the All India Institute for Medical Sciences said on Thursday in the latest bulletin on his health.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday afternoon visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to enquire about the former Prime Minister's health.
Mr Modi arrived at the hospital for the second time in the last 24 hours, as the doctors attending the 93-year-old BJP veteran said that his condition has deteriorated and he was on life supporting system.
Earlier in the day, among others, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu visited AIIMS.
BJP chief Amit Shah, veteran party leader LK Advani, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and several Union Ministers, including Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Piyush Goyal, Smriti Irani and Suresh Prabhu also visited AIIMS.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also visited AIIMS to enquire about former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's health.
Among others who visited the AIIMS are Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje and Social activist Kailash Satyarthi.
