Former J&K Guv and SC Judge V Khalid dies at 95

Kannur, Nov 15 (UNI) Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor and Supreme Court Judge Vazhakkulangarayil Khalid, popularly known as V Khalid passed away in a private hospital, here, due to age related illness, on Wednesday afternoon around 1300 hrs.
He was 95, and survived by wife Rabiya and daughter Tahira. The funeral will be held at Kannur City Juma Masjid in the evening.
He served as a Governor of Jammu and Kashmir for just 12 days in 1984. He served as Supreme Court Judge from 1984 to 1987.
