Bhubaneswar, Nov 10 (UNI) A fire in the Bapuji Nagar branch of the State bank of India located in the heart of the capital city destroyed several documents, records and furniture.
The local residents of Bapuji nagar area, a posh locality in Bhubaneswar, first noticed the smoke billowing out of the third floor of the SBI building early in the morning. They immediately alerted the police and the two fire tenders were rushed to the bank to douse the flame.
Police sources said, there has been no injury or casualty in the mishap. Today being the second Saturday, the details of documents and bank records damaged in the fire could not be ascertained.
